This paintings was first without the shadows, and one day a shadow was dropped on it through the window and I liked how it looked. So I painted the shadow.

The Black Dog Incident

We were in Richmond park having a picnic and a dog attacked us. As I was reading about Peter Doig, I found that he creates work based on the daily experiences he encounters and therefore I decided to paint this experience.

Those were two abandoned paintings, and I tried to make new paintings out of them, so I covered them in latex then applied some paint. Later, I pealed the latex, and the result is still not so good. However, I will keep trying till I get something better.

I started it, then abandoned it for a while, then I decided to apply some paint in the same way Peter Doig did, by desolving paint in turpentine and pour it directly on the painting. I like it but I don't think I will do it again, at least not in the near future.
